CCTV News: The 2023 China International Maritime Exhibition opened in Shanghai on December 5th, with a group of the latest technologies and achievements in the field of shipbuilding and marine engineering showcased.

CCTV reporter Wu Tianbai from CCTV: Inside the exhibition hall, you can see different types of world-class ship types, engines, and other marine supporting facilities and equipment. 42% of the exhibitors at this exhibition are overseas enterprises, which not only serves as a "barometer" for the technological development trend of the international shipbuilding and offshore industry, but also builds a "bridge" for cooperation between Chinese and international customers.

Liu Wei, the person in charge of the exhibition area of China Shipbuilding Group: There are a total of 11 signing activities and more than 40 new product releases and promotions. The exhibited products include three pearls that have been successfully selected from the crown of the shipbuilding industry, aircraft carriers, large liquefied natural gas ships, and the first domestically produced large cruise ship, totaling 300 physical models and sand tables. We use 3D animation and VR technology to showcase our most representative high-quality development achievements.

Not only are there scaled down models of mainstream ship types, but an experience area themed around domestic large cruise ships was also launched at this maritime exhibition.

CCTV reporter Wu Tianbai: In the experience area of the cruise ship, you can experience the latest intelligent cabin of the cruise ship. Through voice control, the audio and lighting systems of the cruise ship's intelligent cabin can be controlled, providing passengers with a comfortable experience. It showcases the form of future intelligent cruise ship cabins and showcases to the world China's continuously developing level of cruise ship interior and intelligent assembly.

This year's China International Maritime Exhibition attracted over 2000 companies from more than 30 countries and regions to participate, showcasing star products from globally renowned companies in the industry, and completing over a hundred on-site contracts in fields such as shipbuilding, marine engineering, and supporting equipment technology.
